Search intelligence
Keywords & rank tracking
What it's for
The keywords your site appears for, with their position over time (derived from Search Console). Track the terms that matter and watch them rise or fall.
When to use it
- To monitor your priority terms after optimization.
- To spot «striking distance» terms sitting just off page 1.
How to use it
- Project → «Keywords» (requires Search Console connected).
- Add/track the terms you care about within your plan's limit.
- Open a keyword for its position history and top URL.
Reading your results
For each output: is it good, does it need improvement, or is it bad — and exactly what to do next.
Average position
Good
1–3: top of page 1 — defend it.
Needs improvement
4–10: on page 1 but with upside; 11–20 is striking distance.
Bad
Beyond 20: not yet competitive for this term.
What to do next
For 11–20, improve the ranking URL's on-page + internal links and add depth; for 1–3, protect with freshness and internal links.
Position trend
Good
Improving: keep doing what works.
Needs improvement
Flat: needs a fresh push (content/links).
Bad
Declining: a competitor overtook you or the page decayed.
What to do next
On decline, compare your page to the new top results and refresh content; check for lost backlinks.
Next steps
- Send striking-distance terms to the On-page optimizer.
- Check Opportunities for the quantified upside of each term.
