Backlinks
What it's for
Your referring domains, anchors, new/lost links and a conservative toxicity assessment, plus a Google-ready disavow export. Needs a backlink data source (CSV import or a connected provider) and a plan that includes backlinks.
When to use it
- To monitor link growth and catch a negative-SEO attack.
- Before disavowing, to separate truly toxic domains from normal ones.
How to use it
- Project → «Backlinks»; import a CSV or connect a provider.
- Review referring domains, new/lost and the toxicity list.
- Export a disavow file only for genuinely toxic domains.
Reading your results
For each output: is it good, does it need improvement, or is it bad — and exactly what to do next.
Net new vs lost links
Good
Steady net positive: healthy, organic growth.
Needs improvement
Flat or churny: link-building has stalled.
Bad
Net negative / sudden loss: investigate lost links or an attack.
What to do next
Reclaim valuable lost links (fix 404s, ask for re-links); for a spike of spammy new links, prepare a disavow.
Toxicity score (per domain)
Good
0: clean — no action.
Needs improvement
1–49: watch; not strong enough to disavow yet.
Bad
50+: flagged toxic (a strong signal or several weak ones).
What to do next
Manually confirm 50+ domains, then add only those to the disavow export and upload it in Google Search Console.
Next steps
- Upload the disavow file in Google Search Console (only if needed).
- Pursue links from competitors' referring domains.
